Think about it...

Picasso was in a park when a woman approached him and asked him to draw a portrait of her. Picasso agreed and quickly sketches her. After handing the sketch to her, she is pleased with the likeness and asks how much she owed to him. Picasso replied $5,000. The woman screamed "but it took you only five minutes".
No, madam, it took me all my life, replied Picasso.

Peter Gabriel always give a special attention to the sleeves of his album... Since 1977, each one is an artist work... They just set up limited edtion print of them, which are, I have to say, out of price, but this is art, aren't they ? I want to present them to you and explore 33 years in images...

“The visual part of records has always been something that's excited me from when I was a fan and buying records. I've always loved great artwork and album art. I think it's been a huge part of what people identify and feel about the music and the records. When it's done well I think it's fantastic.

When I put out records without titles it was because I tended to remember my own records by the artwork. I used to love gatefold sleeves ...when you would sit at home with a new record and open it up it was just a precious moment. Now we've gone into this digital world a lot of that has been lost.”

- Peter Gabriel
